Documentary on the Arch_Tec_Lab
The ETH recently published a documentary on the Arch_Tec_Lab. It assesses the building as a collective project, a research project on a one-to-one scale. The Arch_Tec_Lab adresses issues of technology, structure, climate, and digitalisation in design and construction processes.
Dense and Green Building Typologies
At the Future Cities Laboratory in Singapore, the Chair of Architecture and Building Process of Sacha Menz is studying the environmental, social, economic, and aesthetic benefits of dense and green building typologies in high-density urban contexts.
Material Performance Conference, Lund University
Professor Sacha Menz contributed to the Material Performance Conference at Lund University: “New materials, new fabrication techniques and the innovative applications of old, everyday, or recycled materials are enabling architects to create new experiences of site, place and the city."
We are Moving!
The Arch_Tec_Lab is the new home to the Institute of Technology in Architecture on ETH's Hönggerberg campus. As of mid September we will share the space with the other chairs of the institute.
